Sideways

I finally saw the movie "Sideways". I thought it was put together really well except for a slow part towards the end of the movie. I think the writer put in some good metaphors, and I think I will read the book. It also helps that I recognize a lot of the vineyards that were shown in the film. Since my brother lived in San Fran, and I have a few friends would live there. I went to the Best Cellars to taste wine afterwards. One wine I really liked was the 88 Strauss Samling from Austria.

I am really annoyed with Sprint for how they posted the last post. This is the first time they did that, and I guess I will have to put my pictures from my phone in a different way. Lily, I think the edge is to Angie because she did not consider my profession to be "money-grubbering". I found that insulting. Angie, I work on a contract basis, so my hourly limit is based on the case. I ended up billing around 2400 hrs. last year, too.

The slow part to me was between when the truth was revealed, and just before the wedding. Though I have to admit I was probably just getting hungry, since I went just after work. My favorite thing about the movie how the two main characters were analagous to the id and ego.

I am sorry you feel slighted Lily, but then I didn't post a fake picture. I did comment about your comments earlier. The fact is I don't think I would ever date someone who would play games like that and test me. Anyways, you can let you cousin know that I used to work for the International Trade Commission for one of the Commissioners. I wrote a large portion of my boss' opinion on the steel tariff case. I have also published a law article comparing the Indian system of securities regulation to ours. I have even been a member of a committee on Science and Technology that would vet bills for the Virginia Legislature. I could go on and on. I DON"T LIKE ANYONE PLAYING GAMES WITH ME AND CALLING ME A LIAR MULTIPLE TIMES. Goodbye.

Thank you Senator. But I think that Lily has caused some confusion here. I am working just through a contract. It is not the job I wanted after my boss' term ended at the U.S. ITC, but then you take what you get. It was ironic, because the work I did at the ITC helped a lot of people retain their jobs in the steel industry but hurt my own prospects because it lowered the number of filings needed. But I have to say I been involved in some neat M&A cases this last year especially in the media industry.

Fandango,
I would beware of Vietnamese pit traps more than torture.

Welcome back, Mr. Dog Night. I think we all missed your efforts to point out my errors. I was holding off making any judgement between Lily and Angie. But her earlier comments have been bugging me for some time. Then she claims to be a fashion designer, and posts a picture of a woman wearing a god-awful bridesmaid dress. I guess I felt it was time to figure out what her game was.

Angie,
Glad you had a good workout. I think I will be hitting the gym tonight myself. On Sunday, I had to skip my leg exercises because of my knee.

You make it very tempting for me to try to get up to the City this weekend.

Yeah the three EEE one is quite over the top.

I was considering coming up to the City. I haven't seen a couple of my friends in awhile. I think that might be on hold since my buddy from NC is going to be in town.

Welcome Sophia! I normally don't delete comments except when things get really confusing. This blog certainly has a life of its own within the comments.
